I think that The Cliffs at Walnut Cove is the most visual appealing golf course in the Carolinas. It has one of the best sets of Par 3’s I have ever played. It is one of the best conditioned golf courses I have ever seen and played in my years on the Nationwide Tour and PGA Tour.

This is a near quintessential Jack Nicklaus course. The Par 5’s are birdie-able, and the Par 3’s are very difficult.  He did a great job of using the natural creeks and ravines, and it’s totally fair. This course rates somewhere between great and spectacular.
